Brandon Wells

Brandon Wells has served as the President/CEO of employee-owned The Group Real Estate since January 2018. He was brought to Northern Colorado as The Group’s first Chief Technology officer in 2014. In 2019 Brandon also took over as President/CEO for Group Financial Partners which controls the ancillary businesses of mortgage, title, and property management. After graduating from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, he worked for a brokerage in Albuquerque for 10 years, working his way up from sales associate to Sales Manager and was the Director of Web Services and Operations when The Group recruited him. Wells goal is to ensure real estate will see the benefit of efficiency through technology while not losing its roots as a deeply relationship oriented business; The Group works to constantly improve its systems and provide services that save time and energy while simplifying the customer’s transaction.

HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR 2021 TRADESHOW SPONSORS

NEW EXECUTIVE ORDER (2020-2021)

AFFECTING RENT DEMANDS

AAMD / CAA Members,

The Governor has issued Executive Order 2020-202 again affecting rent demands.

The Executive Order as two practical effects:

First, it requires that all rent demands include a copy of this five-page CDC order as well as this two-page Declaration form

There is no requirement that you provide either of these documents to the resident prior to serving a rent demand nor is there any requirement that you re-serve these documents with the rent demand if you’ve already provided them to the resident (which we know some of you have).

Additionally, the Executive Order extends the requirement of the use of the 30-day rent demand.

IMPORTANT!!

If you attended our January monthly meeting on Rental Leasing & Rental Registration/Licensing with the City of Fort Collins, please make sure to reach out to the Fort Collins City Council to voice your concerns on this matter!!

Cost of this program could be as much as $100 per door not including staff time and the loss of productivity. Maybe we have the concerns regarding development of units and the additional cost and/or inability to get financing.
