Sergeant Andrew Leslie & Officer Annie Hill

Officer Annie Hill, one of our Mental Health Response Team officers!

Annie has been a Fort Collins police officer for 13 years. She’s served in several assignments, including as a Neighborhood Engagement Team officer and Crimes Against Persons detective.

Annie is Crisis Intervention Teams (CIT) certified, is a CIT instructor, and serves as one of our Crisis Negotiators. She’s also a member of the FCPS Peer Support Team. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology and is a certified addiction counselor, registered psychotherapist, and has advanced training in domestic violence therapy.

In addition to serving in law enforcement, Annie also has professional experience working in residential treatment with at-risk youth as well as counseling court-ordered clients. Known as an advocate for secondary diversion, she’s played a significant role in working with our local justice system to create forward-thinking options at the intersection of law enforcement and mental health.

Sergeant Andrew Leslie is the newly selected, MHRT, Mental Health Co-Responder Sergeant.  Before being selected in January of 2022, Andrew was a Patrol Sergeant responsible for supervising a shift of officers covering a variety of calls for the City of Fort Collins.  While in the role of a street Sergeant Andrew routinely worked closely with members of MHRT to help streamline their processes and provided support and direction in the implementation of MHRT goals and objectives.  One of Andrew’s strengths is building relationships and has demonstrated this in every position he has held at the Police Department as well as in his personal life as well.  Andrew truly believes there is nothing that can’t be accomplished when clearly defined goals and responsibilities are worked on in a collaborative environment. Prior to working with the Fort Collins Police Department, Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cedarville University in Education where he also coached NAIA Division II basketball and volleyball teams to successful seasons.  Andrew is married to Tricia Leslie who also works at the Fort Collins Police Department as a 911 Dispatcher and has two amazing boys named Jack and Jace.

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS;

ADOBE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

IMPORTANT!!

If you attended our January monthly meeting on Rental Leasing & Rental Registration/Licensing with the City of Fort Collins, please make sure to reach out to the Fort Collins City Council to voice your concerns on this matter!!

Cost of this program could be as much as $100 per door not including staff time and the loss of productivity. Maybe we have the concerns regarding development of units and the additional cost and/or inability to get financing.
